" Ideology can be of everything".

Power:

First concept was given by  Niccolo Machiavelli in 16th century.

Niccolo defined power in these words: "power is strategic. When you think strategically and decentralize rights. It is known as power organization"

Think Strategically + Individual decentralize Rights + Organization democracy

Thomas Hobbes:

Thomas Hobbes in 17th century said that one should support sovereignty of state.

When sovereignty and rights of people both compile together it is called as power.

Sovereignty of state+ Rights of people

Are supported by people.

Hobbes believe in equality of all man in a civil society. State allows everything. People are free to do anything they want to . People are free to anything  that are not forbidden by law.

State is an entity ruled by the sovereignty and people live their lives in peaceful society.

For example: UK has monarch system and democracy.

Hobbes said: " In case of abuse of power people  have to accept it as a price of peace".

So sovereign control civil, society, military, judiciary and religion.

Ideology:

It meant many things in history, but one thing is always common. It refers to social Norms, and processes by which you make your world around you.

Fair Clough:

"Ideology and power are of two types:

1) The ideology of USA and Britain after World War 2.

2) Marxist Theory

Difference:

The ideology of USA after World War 2 believes that, it is any social policy derives from a social theory in a conscious way.

Marxist on the other hand says, "Ideology is composed of ideas, which arise as a set of Material Interests in struggle of our power.
