Sir,

      It is stated with due respect that dwellers of this developing city are in shock and awe due to yesterday's incident when armed robbers deprived a family of the hefty amount of money, dignity, and a daughter. The family was traveling in a car when armed robbers opened fire on them and compelled them to park the car in an isolated place where they subjected the family to robbery and kidnapped a girl of that family. The heart wrecking reality is that these kinds of news are printed daily in our city newspaper as these incidents occur on daily basics. These horrific incidents haunt victims and instill fear in the heart and minds of listeners. The ratio of street crime is augmenting and regretfully, law enforcement agencies are not taking serious measures to curtail this menace of street crime. Moreover, news about the expansion of drug cartels in our city has exacerbated the already deteriorating conditions. Youngsters are abusing drugs and drug dealers are roaming freely in the city without any restrictions. Therefore, I request honorable DPO to take strict action against goons, thieves, drug dealers, and bike gangsters who perform street crimes on daily basis. I hope competent authorities would consider my application and start operations to retrieve the lost peace from this city.
