Academic activities have come to halt in University of Narowal due to ongoing protest of teachers.

Recently, University of Narowal's administration has fired 86 employees, including 23 teachers due to which university's operations have been suspended. Students across all departments are speaking out in favor of respectable teachers. Teachers are claiming that they have been serving in this institution for 6 years and as per law they have the right to teach as a regular teacher.

On the whole situation, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Dr. Tariq Mahmood has recently given interview where he has expressed his views on protest. Moreover, Dr. Tariq Mehmood has unveiled real reasons behind the harsh decision of the termination of the teachers.
